West Chester University’s Community Mental Health Services (CMHS) has partnered with United Way of Chester County to host a Holiday Diaper Drive now through Dec. 17.

Members of the community are asked to donate diapers to children and families in need in Chester County. Donations can be made Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM at designated collection sites on WCU’s campus.

“The mission of the WCU Community Mental Health Services center is to improve access to quality mental health care for all individuals who need it,” said Rosa Boniface, coordinator of the Holiday Diaper Drive and a current graduate student in the university’s Doctor of Psychology Program in Clinical Psychology.

“It has been a long, stressful year and WCU-CMHS hopes to give back to the community and support those we serve in the way they need it most. United Way of Chester County shares our mission of community empowerment and is helping us make an intentional difference in our community. All diapers donated will go directly to children and families in need in Chester County. We hope many will help us make this holiday season much brighter for those neighbors who need it most.”

The Holiday Diaper Drive welcomes donations of diapers of any size, brand, or amount. Diapers must be packaged or boxed. Loose or used diapers are unable to be accepted.

Donations can be dropped in collection boxes located at the following three sites:

    125 West Rosedale Avenue
*The collection box is located to the right of the check-in desk.
