Tilted 10 and Tilt Studio Ready to Restore Willow Grove Park Mall to Its Former Amusement Glory

By

In its glory days, the Willow Grove Park Mall was an amusement hotspot featuring rides and various family activities, writes Jon Campisi for the Patch.

Now, Tilted 10 and Tilt Studio is looking to return the mall in Montgomery County to its former amusement glory by opening a family entertainment center that will boast many favorite group activities such as bowling, mini-golf, bumper cars, and a laser tag arena.

The 104,000-square-foot entertainment complex will open at the former JCPenney site, according to Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, which owns the mall. It is expected to open in 2022.

The move is the latest step in PREIT’s strategy to expand the offerings at the mall so they can better meet the changing needs of today’s consumers.

“As Willow Grove Park returns to its roots, it now brings a new entertainment destination for evenings and weekends that appeals to families,” said the company. “PREIT is focused on taking the mall into the next phase of its evolution, which is set to include new dimensions, including entertainment, enhanced retail, and apartments, creating a true central hub for the community.”
