Neumann University is a private, Catholic university in Aston that follows the Franciscan tradition. It was founded in 1965, and offers undergraduate degrees in a variety of subjects, three doctoral programs, six master’s degree program and an accelerated bachelor’s degree program for adults.

Assistant Director – Degree Completion & Graduate Programs

Neumann University is currently seeking a full time Assistant Director in the Office of Degree Completion and Graduate Admissions.

 This position manages systems and recruiting for the office. The Assistant Director plans and implements Information Sessions, Open Houses, webinars, New Student Orientations, and other events; supports the functionality of the recruitment database (Slate); collaborates with program Directors; maintains telephone and email contact with applicants; meets with potential students etc.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (a Master’s degree is preferred); experience in the recruitment process in higher education; demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel; excellent communication skills, time management and organizational skills; high energy, and detail oriented. Candidates must possess an appreciation for and congruence with the Franciscan mission of the University.

Coordinator for Student Engagement & Campus Activities

Neumann University is currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Coordinator for Student Engagement & Campus Activities.

This position reports directly to the Director of Student Engagement & Leadership. The Coordinator for Student Engagement & Campus Activities will work with the Director of Student Engagement & Leadership and other campus partners to foster a campus environment that is vibrant and engaging, meets diverse student needs, offers opportunities for engagement, and is grounded in Neumann’s Catholic traditions and Franciscan values.

The coordinator will advise SGA’s Knights Programming Board, coordinate, and manage late night/evening/weekend programming and large-scale events, and support and coordinate new student program activities. Night and weekend hours will be required in support of evening, weekend, and late-night campus programming.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree; two to three years of significant administrative experience, preferably within an education, social work, student affairs, or human service environment; history of progressive student leadership and involvement during undergraduate experience; commitment to inclusion and equity amongst a diverse student population; technological aptitude and dexterity; excellent communications skills in both verbal and written formats; knowledge of and congruence with the Catholic Franciscan character of the University.

 Teacher—Child Development Center

Neumann University’s Child Development Center is looking for someone to fill a Lead Teacher position, Pre-Kindergarten through Third Grade. This is a full time position, 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. with flexibility.

The role of the teacher is the implementation of a developmentally appropriate and diverse curriculum that supports the overall development of preschool age children. This is a salaried position with benefits and college tuition support.

Qualification include a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in early childhood/elementary education and classroom experience. Candidates must possess an appreciation for and congruence with the Franciscan mission of the University.
