Greenphire has more than doubled its headquarters in King of Prussia and is planning to double the number of its employees over the next three years, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The technology company that focuses on the clinical trial industry currently leases 55,000 square feet at Valley Forge Park Place, up from the 25,000 square feet it was leasing for the last four years.

And while it plans to keep King of Prussia as its main base, the company also wants to eventually open a satellite office in Philadelphia to provide it with “greater connective tissue with downtown overtime,” according to Jim Murphy, Greenphire’s CEO.

For right now, the company is focusing on its King of Prussia headquarters, where it has 248 employees. However as it continues to grow its financial management software business, Greenphire is projecting to increase its number of employees to 600, up from the current 331 staff.

The company was formed thirteen years ago and has been continuously growing ever since.

“If it weren’t for COVID, we would have outgrown our space a year ago,” said Murphy. “We blasted through our growth projections.”
