Howard Alan Events (HAE), the nation’s largest, juried fine art and craft festival producer is excited to announce the return of the former-Sugarloaf holiday tradition at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center during the Oaks Holiday Art and Craft Festival, on November 5 – 7, 2021.
Featuring hundreds of fine artists, craft artisans, gourmet food purveyors, demonstrations, and more, this 30+ year tradition takes place Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
Tickets for patrons are $10 per person at the gate, or two tickets for $15 in advance. Children under age 12 enter free of charge.
“Following the Sugarloaf announcement back in July 2020, we kept hearing, ‘We wish you guys could take over these shows; it would be a shame if they just went away,’ and we knew that even though we didn’t have a clue when shows would start back up, they would eventually return, and those artists depend upon the Sugarloaf shows for their livelihood,” says HAE President Howard Alan.
“Despite the uncertainty, we knew it was the right thing to do, and we are excited to reimagine these hallmark shows, and bring the beautiful works of these brilliant creators to the public once more,” he said.
HAE reached out to the Sugarloaf organizers and partners and asked them to join the Howard Alan Events team to keep continuity for the longtime exhibitors.
Visitors to the holiday show can expect to see their favorite crafters, artists and specialty food-makers, along with new mediums and creative offerings from existing HAE artists and craft artisans. Raffles, demonstrations, scrumptious samples of tasty treats and more will welcome new and longtime visitors to the Festival.
Unlike other art and craft festivals, HAE insists that every item be handmade by the artist within the United States, and that every artist must be on-site for the duration of each event.
This ensures the quality and uniqueness of the crafts, while allowing visitors the opportunity to interact with the creators and discover the inspiration behind every work.
