Greater Philadelphia is flush with cool industrial wedding venues, some of which offer that little extra something that makes them stand out from the crowd, including one Montgomery County site, writes Jalyn Green for Philadelphia Magazine.

Maximalist Studios in Norristown is one of nineteen ultra-cool industrial wedding venues in the Philadelphia region.

The establishment is run by Eddie Ross, design, decorating, and food editor, and partner Jaithan Kochar and they ensure to elevate every aspect of a wedding with their thoughtful details.

Guests are first taken to the second-floor venue on a freight elevator that is styled to match the theme of the event.

A cocktail hour is held in a loft, where guests can cozy up in lounge areas that have been created with pieces from Ross’ personal collection.

The main event takes place in the white-walled main space, where Ross incorporates something sentimental brought along by the couple into a head table layered with texture and color. He then extends this look to the entire room with the help of rental companies.

Maximalist Studios is located at 501 W. Washington St. #3 in Norristown.
