Montgomery County Scheduling Booster Shots for Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine; Clinics at King of Prussia Mall, Norristown
The Montgomery County Office of Public Health has announced it is now scheduling booster shots for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine following FDA and CDC approval. People who are at highest risk for COVID-19 can now receive a Pfizer COVID-19 booster shot to help increase their protection.
This includes:
• People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after receiving the second dose of Pfizer vaccine,
• People ages 50–64 years with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after receiving the second dose of Pfizer vaccine,
• People ages 18–49 years with underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after receiving the second dose of Pfizer vaccine, based on their individual benefits and risks, and
• People ages 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting may receive a booster shot of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after receiving the second dose of Pfizer vaccine, based on their individual benefits and risks.
To receive the Pfizer booster, you must have received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for your first and second dose.
Appointments are required for a booster of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at Montgomery County vaccination clinics.
Walk-ins are only accepted for first and second doses. Individuals will be required to sign a self-attestation form to receive a booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
Appointments began on September 27 and can be made by visiting here. There is no cost to receive the vaccine.

Residents attending a County-run clinic for a booster dose of Pfizer must bring their CDC vaccination card or a picture of their card on their phone. If they have lost their vaccination card, they should call one of our three health centers for assistance:

Boosters have been approved for Pfizer vaccine only. Moderna and J&J vaccines are still being evaluated, at this time no booster shot is recommended.
The County continues to offer a third dose of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for immunocompromised individuals.
Immunocompromised individuals will need to sign a self-attestation form to receive a third shot.
