As Partner at SyncScript, LLC, Liz Granahan starts her day with some ‘me time.’ With 3 kids under 10, I thrive on starting my day with a bit of “me time.” I wake up around 5:30 am every day and drink my coffee before the rest of the house wakes up. There is something very calming about sitting with yourself first thing in the morning, especially if it’s outside with some fresh air,” she notes.

After getting the kids on the bus, she details her schedule and priorities for the day. “I do my best to focus on those priorities before getting into a reactive mode, which is easy to do with a small business,” she says. “Our team has always worked remotely, and we thrive in this environment.”

Her proudest accomplishment is starting SyncScript and creating an environment where team members can grow and create a work-life integration that fosters the whole person. “While the business is important, allowing our team members to challenge themselves and make themselves, their families and/or their passions a priority is important,” Liz Granahan explains.

Her advice to colleagues is solid: You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take time for yourself to be able to give the best to your family, career, and every aspect of your life.
