Several months ago, Ardmore resident Emily Bushnell found out she had an identical twin sister, Molly Sinert, who was also adopted from South Korea and was living in the United States, writes Morgan Smith for People.

The twin sister found out about each other’s existence thanks to 23andMe’s DNA tests and realized they were only a few states apart as Sinert lives in Florida. So they arranged to meet on their 36th birthday.

Since then, the pair has quickly fallen into a sisterly routine. They text each other every day, trade clothes, and plan joint trips. Their families also met for the first time last month in Pennsylvania.

“I’ve laughed more in the last couple of days than I have in a long time,” said Bushnell of being with her sister. “She gets me, and for the first time I feel like I can be me.”

The sisters are still deciding if they are going to visit South Korea in search of their birth parents.

They have also been in contact with both of their adoption agencies and the Seoul Broadcasting System to make a documentary of their experience.
