Media-Based Freya Systems Explores Future of A.I. During Philly Tech Week with Webinar on Tuesday

Artificial intelligence and data science technologies are changing businesses of all types and sizes.

Freya Systems, a data analytics and software development company based in Media, will host a webinar on Tuesday, May 11 from 5-7 PM that helps business owners and leaders understand these changes and highlights current and future applications of advanced data science.

Entitled “The Future of Data and A.I. in Business and the Workplace,” the webinar is part of Philly Tech Week and will begin with a keynote speech from Christopher MacNeel, Senior Data Scientist at Freya Systems, on the basic principles of artificial intelligence and machine learning for small and medium-sized businesses.

Freya Systems CEO Ben Johnson will then moderate a discussion of how artificial intelligence will impact specific industries and business functions. Panelists include:

  • Bora Ozkan, Associate Professor, Temple University Fox School of Business
  • Fiona Jamison, CEO, Spring International
  • Keith Aumiller, Senior Director of Data Scientific Services, Signant Health
  • Brandon O’Daniel, Data Lake & Data Science Manager, Xylem 

Freya Systems, which focuses on the aviation industry, was recently selected as a 2021 winner of the Drexel LeBow Analytics 50 Award, a national recognition of analytics distinction. Given annually to 50 organizations that use analytics to solve business challenges, the award has honored companies for using analytics to improve decision-making, combat crime, help populations in poverty, enhance athletic performance, and improve their carbon footprint. Freya Systems was recognized for a particular military aviation project that addressed fleet readiness.
