Meridian Bank Adds Veteran of Finance, Wealth Management as Vice President of Business Development

Malvern resident Hank Oberly has joined Meridian Bank as Vice President of Business Development.

In this new role, Oberly will be responsible for new business development and market growth in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

A graduate of Denison University in Ohio, Oberly has worked in finance and wealth management in the Philadelphia region for 16 years. Prior to joining Meridian, he spent eight and a half years in his previous role at Kershner Office Furniture in King of Prussia.

“Hank brings a wealth of business development experience and a tremendous network to Meridian,” said Ed Carpoletti, Senior Vice President of Business Development. “With Hank’s experience, we will continue to provide best-in-class service to the business community in Greater Philadelphia.”

Oberly currently volunteers his time with The Great Valley Community Organization and The Impact Center in Haverford. He has coached in the Great Valley Basketball League, Chester Valley Little League, and the Greater Chester Valley Soccer Association. He is a member of the Great Valley Chamber of Commerce and Life Sciences Pennsylvania and is an avid golfer and tennis player at Waynesborough Country Club.

Oberly is a former Deacon at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, a former Elder at Paoli Presbyterian Church, and a former board member of both The First Tee of Suburban Philadelphia and Waynesborough Country Club.
