After having to close due to the pandemic, the Central Montco Technical High School beauty salon reopened last week and is once again accepting clients, writes M. English for The Times Herald.

The beauty salon is currently offering a limited number of appointments Monday to Friday between 8 and 11 a.m. However, its full-service will reopen on June 29 and run through August 5 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“We’ve really missed our clients, and we’re so happy to be able to welcome people back,” said Cosmetology Instructor Mary Boccella.

Boccella’s students operate CMTHS’s in-house salon. The pandemic has been hard for her current class as they have had to practice on mannequins. Now, they will finally have the opportunity to work on real clients again.

And to keep everybody safe, the salon has put in place all the recommended safety and sanitation protocols. Additionally, everybody has to wear a mask, and only one person per appointment is allowed.

The prices will also remain hard to beat, with hair styling services running from between $4 and $20.
