The Ardmore Initiative and Restaurant Marokko welcome fairgoers to Schauffele Plaza in Downtown Ardmore from 12 Noon to 2:00pm on March 6.

Shop Small, Shop Local, Shop Female! The Sisterly Love Food Fair celebrates Women’s History Month with its first ever pop-up on the Main Line and in the Philadelphia Suburbs.

On Saturday, March 6th, Ardmore Initiative and Restaurant Marokko welcomes the Fair to Schauffele Plaza in Downtown Ardmore from 12 Noon to 2:00pm with dozens of regional and local vendors, plus entertainment provided by Ardmore Music Hall.

Shoppers will find a who’s who of female chefs, restaurateurs and entrepreneurs supporting each other during the pandemic at this one-day outdoor, socially-distanced food market.

“We are excited to partner with the Sisterly Love Citywide Food Fair to bring female-led businesses together to support each other during the pandemic,” said Ardmore Initiative Executive Director Nancy Scarlato.

“We are thrilled to be the first to host this very special socially-distanced pop-up event in the Philadelphia suburbs. In partnership with Restaurant Marokko and Chef Saida, we are organizing our Downtown Ardmore female-owned businesses to join the exciting line-up of talent from around the region. I want to also send a big thanks to Ardmore Music Hall for supporting this collaboration and providing music.”

Masks and socially distancing are required for all shoppers attending the fairs. Shoppers should also respect any local and venue health and safety protocols that are also in place.

Additional dates for March for Women’s History Month also were announced, including Saturday March 13th from Noon to 2:00pm, at Hudson Table and The Piazza, with Northern Liberties Business Improvement District; Saturday, March 20th, from 11:00am to 2:00pm, at Bridget Foy’s on South Street, at 200 South; and Saturday, March 27th, from Noon to 4:00pm, at Cherry Street Pier with Lokal Artisan Foods and French Toast Bites.
