Jessica DeLuise, a physician assistant at Einstein Healthcare in Conshohocken, rebranded herself as the Wellness Kitchenista during the pandemic to help others eat healthier, writes Melissa Jacobs for Main Line Today.

As the coronavirus began spreading, DeLuise noticed that many of her patients were asking her about various supplements to stave off the virus. While not opposing using supplements, she believes that eating healthy foods is the best way to strengthen your immune system and improve your overall wellness.

To help people learn more about the benefits of eating healthy food and change perceptions that anything healthy is not tasty, she rebranded her existing business  Eat Your Way to Wellness as Wellness Kitchenista.

“I reimagined my work the same way we’ve reimagined everything else,” she said.

The growing multimedia enterprise offers practical recipes, video tutorials, and delicious images. The pandemic helped her improve her social media reach drastically. Whereas before the outbreak DeLuise traveled around the country making appearances, since the pandemic hit she has appeared on The Dr. Oz Show as well as on various regional stations.

Her message is simple: with some education and preparation, everybody can cook delicious healthy food.
