A large drive-thru site for distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine is being constructed in King of Prussia on the former site of Babies R Us near King of Prussia Mall, according to a staff report from CBS3 Philly.

Mountain Productions, a Luzerne County-based staging company, is leading the construction project. The company has adapted its operations to help other businesses deal with the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The “drive-thru vaccine and testing site can accommodate 10 lanes and the site can accommodate over 12 lanes,” said Mountain Production CEO Ricky Rose.

He added that the retrofitted shipping containers on the site “are for staff and storing vaccine and equipment.”

Distribution of the vaccine is being handled by 15toknow.
