Mountain Productions construct structures for a COVID-19 vaccination site run by 15toKnow in the parking lot of the former Babies R Us near the King of Prussia Mall.

15toKnow, a Montgomery County-based company working on a massive drive-through vaccination site in King of Prussia, near the King of Prussia Mall, has had to temporarily suspend its first-dose COVID-19 vaccine program as it procures and administer second doses from the state, writes Oona Goodin-Smith for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The company that also provides rapid COVID-19 tests from pop-up operations in mall parking lots throughout Pennsylvania, said that it is currently waiting on the Pennsylvania Department of Health to provide the shots necessary to fulfill the two-dose Moderna vaccine.

The company has also stated that PA has promised more vaccine doses are on the way. 15toKnow to date has had enough doses to meet requirements in time for all patients to whom they administered first doses.

The company administered more than 900 first doses in January and February.

15toKnow CEO Mike Dershowitz said that the company has already submitted an emergency request for more vaccine doses.

Meanwhile, a state spokesperson said that the department is “aware of the situation with [15toKnow] and is actively working to resolve the issues to be able to provide second doses.”

They’ve administered 300 second doses over the last weekend and plan to administer more than 120 doses this upcoming weekend.
