Keystone Property Group Breaks Ground on Hotel Component of SORA West, Its $325M Mixed-Use Project in Conshohocken
Keystone Property Group broke ground earlier this week on Hotel West + Main, the hotel component of SORA West, its $325 million mixed-use project in Conshohocken, writes Kevin Tierney for More Than The Curve.
In addition to the hotel, the project includes a new global headquarters for AmerisourceBergen, the reuse of a historic firehouse, and a large public and private parking garage.
Keystone is developing the 127-room boutique hotel in partnership with Concord Hospitality Enterprises. The hotel will operate as part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
It will feature a rooftop bar and lounge, as well as meeting spaces equipped with top-of-the-line technology. The hotel is expected to open sometime in the second half of the following year.
The 146-year-old home of Washington Fire Company will also be brought back to life and there will be a first-floor dining experience with an outdoor terrace that will connect it to the hotel. The name of the restaurant, 1874 Social, honors the year the fire company was formed on the site.
