You might think if you’ve had a fried chicken sandwich, you’ve had them all, but that’s simply not true in the Montco area. Here’s the latest on fried chicken sandwiches, as discovered by Michael Klein for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Fast food joints like Chick-Fil-A have been touting fried chicken sandwiches as an alternative to their burger counterparts since time began, but has anyone noticed just how tasty and creative these sandwiches have become at bespoke chicken places around the region?

Lucky Well Chicken offers the Motel Fried Chicken sandwich, (located at located at 111 E. Butler Avenue in Ambler, 215-646-4242) a juicy, crispy chicken sandwich with lots of crunch and flavor.

Lucky Well changed up their BBQ menu to chicken during the pandemic and began serving more chicken sandwiches and rotisserie chicken for their customers.

Lovebird (located at 1086 E. Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr, 484-222-6554) seeks to feed the gluten-free crowd, with rice flour breading. Plus, no GMO’s or antibiotics in their chicken. Try their fried chicken bowls, too.
