See Which Montco ZIP Codes Had Biggest COVID-19 Case Increase Before Thanksgiving

Cases of COVID-19 continue to increase rapidly across the nation and state, with some areas in Montgomery County also starting to feel the effects, writes Sean Adams for the Penn Live Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health show the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP code statewide for the seven days ending November 25 compared to infection rates in the seven days prior.

The highest increase in Montgomery County in that period was recorded in ZIP code 19403 in Eagleville and Audubon. The number of confirmed cases grew from 1,213 to 1.300, or 7 percent.

In ZIP code 19095 in Glenside and Wyncote, the number of cases increased from 363 to 385, or 6 percent, while ZIP code 19401 in Norristown saw an increase from 1,820 to 1,890 confirmed cases, or four percent.

ZIP code 19031 in Flourtown recorded an increase of three percent with the number of cases going from 196 to 202.

Statewide, densely-populated Philadelphia ZIP codes continue to record the highest numbers of COVID-19 cases.
