Each week, the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) is recognizing hard-working hospitality employees, specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To honor the travel industry, and share inspiring and positive stories, the VFTCB is putting a particular spotlight on Montgomery County’s 80 hotels by honoring different “Hotel Heroes” on the organization’s social media channels, (primarily on Facebook and LinkedIn), platforms that have more than 160,000 VFTCB/Visit Valley Forge followers.
This week’s VFTCB Hotel Hero is Nicole Fazio, Marketing Manager at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center, nominated by Suzanne Gildea, Director of Corporate Sales.
Fazio started at Normandy Farm and Blue Bell Country Club more than six years ago as an intern.
“She is such a valuable member on our team!” Gildea said. “From the launch of a new pandemic guidelines booklet, to creating new COVID-19 friendly revenue streams, as well as facilitating a first responder fundraising program…the list of her heroic contributions are endless!”
The hotel staff being honored are a variety from sales directors to housekeeping attendants, and culinary team members all across the county, and are going above and beyond the call of duty in their lodging responsibilities.
