Hotel Hero: Jasmine Ginyard, Night Auditor
To honor the travel industry, and share inspiring and positive stories, the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board is putting a particular spotlight on Montgomery County’s 80 hotels by honoring different individuals as Hotel Heroes each week.
The VFTCB recognizes Jasmine Ginyard, the Night Auditor at the at the Fairfield Inn Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia, as this week’s Hotel Hero.
Nominated by Elisavet M. Loizos, Ginyard works full-time while juggling attending college to become a veteranarian.
“Jasmine has always assisted where she could before COVID,” said Loizos, “if there was an employee who called out, or if needed to inspect rooms.”
“During COVID, she has gone above and beyond by continuing to cover shifts as needed, whether it be working a 3-11 p.m., or a 7 p.m.-7 a.m., just to ensure we had coverage, and employees were able to get their days off,” said Loizos.
“She has also stepped up and has helped with some administrative duties to support the team. Jasmine is a great asset to our team, and we are so lucky to have her.”
The hotel staff being honored are a variety from sales directors to housekeeping attendants, and culinary team members all across the county, and are going above and beyond the call of duty in their lodging responsibilities. Learn about more Hotel Heroes here.
