Fall is just around the corner which means frightening haunted houses for those who dare and hayrides and pumpkin picking for the kids. The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board put together a list of some popular Halloween activities in Montgomery County:

Halloween Lantern Tours & Mini Paranormal Investigation: Oct 23 & 30

GRAEME PARK

Graeme Park has long been rumored to be “the most haunted house in Horsham.” Your Lantern Tour guide will take you through the house and will tell you some of the early stories, more recent experiences of our staff and volunteers, and evidence collected over numerous paranormal investigations. The mini-paranormal investigation will give you an hour long “taste” of the techniques and equipment used during a paranormal investigation. Please reserve your ticket in advance. Tours and investigation are recommended for ages 13 and up.

Haunted Campground Drive Thru: Oct 10

GREEN LANE PARK

Join Green Lane Park for their annual spooktacular haunted hayride. This year’s event will adhere to all state/county COVID-19 guidelines. Visitors will enter and enjoy the campground from their own vehicles. All ages, free.

Boo Just for You: Oct 9

ELMWOOD PARK ZOO

Join the Elmwood Park Zoo for some special after hours trick or treating fun! This sneak preview of their regularly scheduled Boo at the Zoo event is specially geared for guests with special needs, and their families and caregivers. This is a great opportunity to experience and enjoy Boo at the Zoo in a more relaxed setting, perfect for those with sensory sensitivities. Kids can walk the zoo and participate in treat stations, animal meet-and-greets, a costume parade and more!
