Conshohocken-based AmerisourceBergen Foundation will donate $1 million to support communities, individuals, and nonprofits affected by COVID-19, according to a staff report from the Philanthropy News Digest.
Among the grant recipients, Direct Relief and AmeriCares will each receive $250,000, and Healthcare Ready will get $150,000.
The Foundation also announced it will provide a 2:1 match for any donations employees make to these organizations as well as AmerisourceBergen Associate Assistance Fund.
AmerisourceBergen Foundation is an independent, nonprofit charitable organization that was established by Chesterbrook-based AmerisourceBergen six years ago.
