The StreamGeeks have an exciting full day of “edutainment” planned for online viewers interested in supporting their local worship communities. Worship Summit Live 2.0 is scheduled for Thursday, April 2 at 8:30 AM and will include live performances from worship bands around the world.
West Chester-based artist Mike Nappi (@mikenappi) will perform a solo acoustic song called “The Good Ole Days” from his home in West Chester and will join other worship bands that are set to perform inspirational musical performances.
“Worship Summit Live is something we have hosted in the past,” said Paul Richards, the Chief Streaming Officer of StreamGeeks. “But this year, we really think the world needs an uplifting experience that can be hosted online and viewed from the safety of our homes. We expect thousands of worship leaders and other online viewers to tune in from home and join us in celebrating a day full of education and entertainment. I would expect many of the live presentations will apply to entrepreneurs and businesses who also want to connect their business with online video technologies that are now so popular in the worship community.”
The coronavirus pandemic has forced the U.S. and much of the world to ban large gatherings. Only a few weeks ago, the news effectively canceled in-person worship services.
“Starting last Sunday, we have been trying to help churches learn how to broadcast their worship services and stay connected in this time of great change,” said Richards. “We have a box full of Helping Your Church Live Stream books available for free on Market street here in West Chester. But out of an abundance of caution, we are also requesting that people download the digital version available on our website.”
The digital version of Helping Your Church Live Stream is available here.
