Academic Adviser and Student Accessibility Coordinator

This position provides academic advising to assigned students while assessing their needs and making appropriate professional referrals; serves as a resource for academic advisers and students; and coordinates research with an emphasis on evaluating academic advising programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in education, psychology, or communications; previous academic experience; excellent communication, collaborative, organizational, and planning skills; and experience with Google applications and Microsoft Office suite.

Maintenance Associate

This position completes scheduled, minor carpentry and glass repair/replacement problems in a timely manner; corrects minor plumbing and drainage problems; performs preventative maintenance as needed; and removes snow and/or ice from entrances and sidewalks as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; a minimum of three years of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry experience; the capability to engage in high level physical activity, including regular lifting of 25 to 100 pounds; and the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Admissions Counselor

This position manages all aspects of recruiting efforts for specified territories to meet stated recruitment goals; conducts interviews, appointments, and group information sessions for prospective students; and represents Manor College at college fairs, high schools, and other off-campus events.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; knowledge of Microsoft Office software; and experience with CAMS Enterprise and Technolutions Slate.
