A new exhibition at Montgomery County Community College’s Fine Arts Center Gallery at Central Campus in Blue Bell will host artwork from the school’s art faculty and alumni.

The MCCC Art Faculty and Invited Alumni Exhibition will take place from January 15 through February 21. It will feature more than 35 artists exhibiting work in various media, including painting, photography, sculpture, and animation. The semi-annual exhibition was last held in January 2018 at the MCCC’s West Campus in Pottstown.

Persistent Painters, an informal group of artists made up of senior citizens who take painting classes at MCCC, will also present their artwork at the exhibit.

The artists’ reception for the exhibition will be held on January 22 in the Fine Arts Center Gallery. Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the community.

For Galleries Director Patrick Rodgers, the exhibition is a way to reconnect with past members of the school’s art community while inspiring students who are currently enrolled in the program.

“The show is a great way to see the talent of our arts faculty and to see where many of our alumni have taken the skills and ideas they started building here,” said Rodgers.
