The fourth annual Pottstown CARES “Welcome Home” concert benefiting the Ministries at Main Street, a Pottstown homeless shelter organization, will take place on Jan. 17 in The Hill School’s Center For The Arts, starting at 6:30 p.m.

The family-friendly pop music concert is being organized by students from The Hill School, Pottstown School District, and Montgomery County Community College.

The featured band will be Andy’s Two Dollar Bills. These local musicians have performed at numerous popular venues in the area, including the Pourhouse and Pottstown FARM. Besides the main band, talented student-musicians from the Pottstown High School and Hill School Jazz Bands will entertain the concert-goers. A surprise artist will also be announced by CARES.

In addition to the great live music, raffle prizes and food will be on sale by local vendors, with all proceeds benefitting the cause.

Tickets for the event will cost $5 at the door and can also be purchased via Eventbrite. Those who cannot attend but still want to support the worthy cause can make donations at the same site.

“The Welcome Home Concert is our attempt to show gratitude toward the town we care about so much,” said Sheridan Ameo, The Hill School student.
