After numerous attempts and heartbreaking loss, Kimber and Jackie Hamilton of Wynnewood got their greatest wish and have added two new members to their family, writes Anndee Hochman for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The couple met at a CrossFit gym and hit it off immediately. They soon began dating and got engaged seven years ago. As Pennsylvania had still not approved marriage equality at the time, they chose a Vermont wedding.

Jackie wanted children from the start. But Kimber, who worked as an educator and literacy specialist, was not immediately sure if she was ready to be a parent. However her wife soon made her change her mind.

The pair decided Kimber would carry the baby and that they would use a sperm donor. However, after several failed tries and one ectopic pregnancy, they were recommended for IVF by their fertility specialist.

Finally, Kimber got pregnant and nine months later, their daughter Abigail was born. When Abigail turned two, the pair decided it was time for another child.

After a rough pregnancy but thankfully relatively easy birth, their second daughter, Quinn Charlotte, was born on April 16, 2019, completing their family.
