The Hill School’s Hobart’s Run Looking for Sponsors for Its Adopt-a-Can Campaign That Keeps Pottstown’s Street’s Cleaner

Amy and Levi Wolf of Wolf Baldwin are proud Hobart’s Run trash can “adopters.”

The Hill School’s Hobart’s Run is looking for sponsors for its Adopt-a-Can efforts that are helping make the streets of Pottstown cleaner.

The organization has already placed sturdy blue trash bins with its logo around town. Some have also popped up in surrounding areas in partnership with other neighborhood improvement initiatives.

And the initiative has already been successful, as residents have noted the decline in litter since the bins arrival. However while the organization provides them free of charge, the cost associated to them is around $200.

This is why “Hobart’s Run is now seeking businesses, nonprofits, civic clubs, or individuals willing to sponsor one or more cans to help us grow this important program,” said Cathy Skitko, communications director for the nonprofit.

Any organization that contributes $200 for a can add its logo to the receptacle. A donation of $500 will fund three cans, while a donation of $1,000 will purchase 10 cans.

Sponsors may request their co-branded cans to be placed at desired locations in Pottstown or allow them to be given to property owners who want to adopt a can.

For more information, email Stephanie Trauner, Hobart’s Run administrative manager, or call Skitko at 610-705-1017.
