Pottstown-based Sly Fox Brewing is partnering with GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading to open a new restaurant at the center’s campus, writes Jon Fassnacht for the Reading Eagle.

Called ‘The Den’, it will replace the outgoing Belly Kitchen & Drinkery, which announced earlier this month it is relocating to West Reading.

As part of the deal with GoggleWorks, Sly Fox will cater many of the center’s events on campus and will also bring music and special events to the neighborhood.

The eatery is the newest iteration of GoggleWorks’ culinary program. When the campus first opened 15 years ago, the center added a full kitchen with a food prep room, dish washing room, storage, and a full bar.

The Den’s predecessor opened just over a year ago, and also featured a partnership with Sly Fox to serve its’ beers on premises.

This is not Sly Fox’s first expansion of the year. The Montgomery County brewery opened a taphouse in Wyomissing earlier in the year.

This was in addition to its already-established location just outside of Phoenixville and planned locations in Malvern and Pittsburgh.
