Narberth Bookshop, currently celebrating its third anniversary, is one of six relatively new bookstores that are worth checking out in the Philadelphia area, writes Ashley Primis for the Philadelphia Magazine.

“My idea of a good time is sitting and picking the books for the store,” Trachtenberg told Billy Penn. “I want it to be really forward-thinking in terms of selection and style.”
The store’s selection is so extensive that it is sometimes hard to comprehend how such a compact space even has space for so many great reads.
The lovingly curated collection focuses predominantly on fiction, self-help, and environmental titles.
The bookshop also holds numerous events during the year, including movie screenings and author readings.
And to top it off, the store offers the option for regulars to become members for $40 a year. Membership perks include discounts on all the freshest picks as well as on the rest of the collection throughout the year.
