For more than a decade, Rachelle Boutique and Designer Consignment in Bryn Mawr has delivered celebrity fashion from Hollywood straight to the Main Line, reports Timothy Walton for 6abc.
Shelly Furman, the store’s owner, curates a selection of top-tier fashion from Chanel, Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. In addition to these major labels, she highlights several small designers who are currently trending. The boutique is the perfect place to shop for special occasions, everyday outfits, and to discover and learn about a variety of fashion brands.
Since opening the store 13 years ago, Furman has worked with many Hollywood consignors, some of whom are A-list actors. While she doesn’t reveal names, she said many of these celebrities can often be seen on TV. She tracks Hollywood trends closely, especially during Oscar season, when people are eager to shop for red-carpet-ready outfits.
She also carries some well-known local designers, like Philadelphia’s Frank Agostino.
“He’s been on the red carpet many times at the Oscars,” said Furman.
