One of the best places to grab breakfast in Souderton is Franconia Cafe and Market, writes Bob Kelly of Breakfast With Bob for Fox 29 Philadelphia.
The establishment has two spacious rooms with seating and a market next door.
The owners, Andy and Pam Brunner, have been in the business for 18 years, six of which have been at this location right off Allentown road.
One of the most popular offerings at the eatery is its famous Scrap Wrap, made up of eggs, cheese, hash browns, and scrapple. There is also the delicious Breakfast Melt with eggs, hash browns, meat, and cheese served on grilled sourdough.
Other options include the Country Scrambler featuring a mouth-watering combination of eggs, sausage, onion, potato, green peppers, and cheese with toast, while the Philly Benny is a take on eggs benedict with scrapple.
During October – the Soup Fest month – the eatery also offered specials on all its 27 varieties of soups.
Finally, for those with a sweet tooth, there are grilled cinnamon buns, chocolate or caramel sundaes, and plenty more options to satisfy that sugar craving.
