9th Annual MY Fest Pennsylvania event in Lansdale to raise awareness of mental health and other challenges facing young people

The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Office of Managed Care Solutions announced today their partnership with Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania, Inc. (Magellan) to bring the 9th annual MY Fest Pennsylvania to White’s Road Park (400 Whites Road, Lansdale, PA) on Saturday, September 21st from noon-4 p.m.

MY Fest is an empowering event for youth and families that provides opportunities for engagement with other young people and community leaders in a positive environment. The event is hosted by MY LIFE (Magellan Youth Leaders Inspiring Future Empowerment) and aims to create awareness about mental health, substance use disorder, foster care, juvenile justice, and other issues affecting Pennsylvania’s young people.

“We are excited that this annual event returns to Montgomery County and we are looking forward to showcasing the impressive talents of our performers while connecting local residents with important resources,” said Tara Karbiner, MY Fest Event Leader and Director of Child and Family Resiliency for Magellan Behavioral Health of Pennsylvania. “We greatly appreciate the community support from our exhibitors and sponsors for this event, and we look forward to welcoming a large crowd to a festive and fun atmosphere on September 21st that is uplifting and judgment free.”
