Scott A. Isdaner, CPA, JD, AEP ®, a resident of Merion Station, has been elected the president of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council (PEPC) for a one year term starting September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020.

Scott A. Isdaner, CPA, JD, AEP ®, a resident of Merion Station,  has been elected the president of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council (PEPC) for a one year term starting September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020.

As the president of the PEPC, he will serve in the role of CEO and shall preside at all meetings of the Council and the board of directors.  Mr. Isdaner has been involved as a member of the PEPC since 1999. He was selected by the nominating committee to serve on the executive committee board beginning in the 2016-2017 year.

Mr. Isdaner is the Managing Member of the accounting firm, Isdaner & Company, LLC. His focus is in the tax area and he is involved in all aspects of tax planning for a diverse client base with emphasis on individual, partnerships, estate and trust, non-profit, and “S” corporation issues. He has over three decades of experience in the accounting industry.  Mr. Isdaner is active in many non-profit organizations as well as professional organizations. He is a frequent speaker on tax topics at business events.

The PEPC is a highly recognized interdisciplinary organization for professionals involved in estate planning, providing its members with opportunities to enhance their skills and expand their network through programs and interaction. The membership includes over 700 attorneys, accountants, trust administrators, insurance agents, investment advisors, appraisers and planned giving professionals in the greater Philadelphia region.
