Elmwood Park Zoo’s food festival, Beast of a Feast, returns on Thursday, June 20, serving up another evening of amazing food and drinks from the area’s top purveyors of all things delicious.
Presented by 92.5 XTU, Beast of a Feast marks its 11th year as the zoo’s biggest summer fundraiser, with proceeds supporting the zoo’s many conservation and education initiatives. Beast of a Feast is also the first of four events planned throughout the year to commemorate the zoo’s 95th anniversary.

Over 30 restaurants will be on hand to sample some of their finest selections, such as The Capital Grille, Eddie V’s Prime Seafood, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, and The Blue Bell Inn. The complete restaurant list is available at beastofafeast.com.
In addition to all of the delicious food, guests will enjoy open bars presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Over a dozen breweries and distilleries will also be sampling their craft beers and spirits.
Beast of a Feast wouldn’t be complete without the zoo’s great animal collection on display, as well as the zoo’s staff hosting unique animal interactions, training demonstrations, and a public feeding session with the zoo’s giant giraffes. There will also be live music, prize raffles, and a silent auction.

Beast of a Feast begins at 6 PM on Thursday, June 20. The zoo will not be open to the public on June 20. Beast of a Feast is a rain or shine event. Only guests ages 21 and over will be permitted.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online by visiting www.beastofafeast.com, or by phone at 610.277.3825 ext. 222. Information about the zoo’s upcoming events commemorating its 95th anniversary can be found at www.epz95.com.
