Abington-Lansdale Hospital names Christopher M. Notte, MD as new Chief Medical Officer

Christopher M. Notte, MD has been appointed chief medical officer of Abington – Lansdale Hospital, effective June 15, 2019.

Christopher M. Notte, MD has been appointed chief medical officer of Abington – Lansdale Hospital, effective June 15, 2019.

As chief medical officer, Dr. Notte will manage and improve clinical operations, programs and safety standards. Dr. Notte will work to ensure that Abington – Lansdale Hospital continues to offer the highest quality care that the North Penn community has come to expect.

A graduate of Drexel College of Medicine, Dr. Notte joined the Abington – Jefferson Health community in 2003 as a Family Medicine resident. He later joined Abington Hospital’s medical staff in 2006 in the Department of Family Medicine. He now serves as associate chief medical information officer for Jefferson Health and is a faculty member of Abington Family Medicine.

Throughout his time at Abington – Jefferson Health, Dr. Notte has held a number of leadership positions, including medical director of Ambulatory Markets and physician informaticist.

Dr. Notte is widely published in medical journals and received the prestigious Abington – Jefferson Health Klein Award for Physician Innovation in 2017. Dr. Notte is currently pursuing his MBA and earned his Certificate in Professional Leadership from the Thomas Jefferson University Leadership Academy in 2017.

He resides in Montgomeryville with his wife and two children.
