Power Your Potential Montgomery County Women’s Conference attendees donate to PA Workwear’s Program

The 4th annual Power Your Potential Montgomery County Women’s Conference was held on March 28, 2019 at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center. The event, hosted by The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery was attended by over 260 women business professionals for a day of networking, inspiration and empowerment.

Merck & Co, Inc. was the presenting sponsor of the Conference which featured eight breakout or Power sessions and keynote addresses with Marilyn Russell, Morning Host WOGL 98.1 as the Honorary Chair.

Montgomery County’s PA Workwear, a program established to ensure the economic independence of individuals who receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families by providing professional attire for job interviews, training and employment was recognized this year with the request for attendees to bring donations of clothing, shoes, purses and toiletries.

“As career women, we understand how important it is to look and feel good on the job, so the opportunity to help others do the same was an easy ask,” says Pam Kelly, President/CEO of The Chamber. Representatives of Planning Committee accompanied chamber staff recently to deliver the outpouring of support to the PA Workwear location in Norristown.
