Hill School to host sixth-annual Community Track Night

The Hill School is hosting the sixth-annual Community Track Night free of charge for children ages 2-12 on Friday, May 10.

On Friday, May 10, The Hill School will host its sixth-annual Community Track Night.

The event, which begins at 6 PM, is free and open to all children between ages 2-14. Preregistration is not necessary, as there will be a registration table at the event. The registration table will open at 5:30 PM.


The array of activities offered includes running, jumping, and throwing (footballs and softballs) events. Current Hill School track and field athletes and coaches will guide participants to each event throughout the evening. Freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, watermelon, and beverages will be available for all guests to enjoy free of charge, courtesy of the catering company Sodexo. Fun, upbeat music selected by Hill School sixth former (senior) Xavier Mayo will play throughout the event.

Visitors may park at either Mount Olive Baptist Church, located at 240 Mintzer Street, or at The Hill School Far Fields. The entrance to the Far Fields is located on the north side of Beech Street, 50 yards west of the Beech Street and Green Street intersection; please be aware that there are three Hill School athletics contests taking place on Friday evening, so parking in The Hill School lot may be limited. Any guests who park at Mount Olive Church may enter The Hill School facility through the gate on Mintzer Street.
