On behalf of Arts Montco, and the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board staff and board of directors, I would like to say thank you to all the people who made it possible for musicians of the world-famous Philadelphia Orchestra to come perform in Montco to help benefit music education in our public schools!

We’re so honored that these first-class, talented artists played a one-night-only special performance at the historic Keswick Theatre – for the first time ever – to a sold-out crowd of 1,300 people passionate about the arts in Montco.

The Keswick is just one of 200 world-class arts and culture venues showcasing Montgomery County’s vibrant arts scene.

Just as with any production, there were so many wonderful people behind the scenes in the Montgomery County community who made this event successful, and we are beyond grateful!

First, to everyone at The Philadelphia Orchestra: it meant the world to us to have a show of such high caliber from the City of Brotherly Love showcasing such striking, classical music, right here in Montco.

Thanks to all the fine folks at the 90-year-old Keswick Theatre for hosting the show, and being so welcoming and accommodating, proving why Montgomery County is one of the best counties in Pennsylvania!

To Musicopia: thank you for letting us be a part of your mission to offer educational music enrichment programs in schools and communities, a cause in which we truly believe.

Thanks to the Montgomery County Intermedia Unit and the schools that will be positively impacted by this event: Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy in Norristown, Stewart Middle School in Norristown, Perkiomen Valley Middle School East in Collegeville, Upper Moreland Middle School in Hatboro, and Abington School District.

To the fabulous people at Dino’s Backstage & The Celebrity Room: thank you for providing such a fantastic, exclusive after-party that was truly first-class!

To the Montgomery County Commissioners – Chair, Dr. Val Arkoosh, Vice Chair, Ken Lawrence, and Commissioner Joe Gale: thank you for your continued support of tourism, and our mission, especially the promotion of our arts and culture venues through our Arts Montco brand.

Thank you to our sponsors: PECO, Montgomery County Community College, and Xfinity.

As strong advocates for the arts, we’re so thankful to all who helped support future generations in ensuring the continued vibrancy of our arts and culture scene.

We’re so excited the opportunity to welcome The Philadelphia Orchestra back to our county for a major outdoor concert in 2020!
