Eagles land in in 10th place — in net worth

The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are worth $2.75 billion, according to Forbes magazine’s annual  rankings.

But that impressive-sounding figure puts the Birds in 10th place among NFL teams, writes John George at bizjournals.com.

Topping the list, for the 12th year in a row, was the Dallas Cowboys, with a net worth of $5 billion.

According to Forbes, the Eagles generated revenues of $458 million last year and posted an operating income of $114 million, an, after winning the championship, the team increased ticket prices the 2018 season from $5 to $25 per game. The waiting list for season tickkets stands at 40,000 fans.
