Under this project, PennDOT will improve traffic flow and safety along Church Road (Route 73) by widening the highway and adding turn lanes at the Greenwood Avenue Intersection, and re-timing of the existing traffic signal at Rices Mill Road to create an exclusive left turn movement for westbound Church Road motorists. Work will begin this week on an $11.3 million road improvement project in Perkiomen Valley.

The intersection of Meyers Road and Miller Road will be closed and detoured Friday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m. through 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, as the initial excavation gets underway, according to Digital First Media.
