Tech Talk: App-based car leasing service expands to Philly

Honcker, a Brooklyn-based maker of an app-based car leasing service, is expanding to the Philly area.

The company conducted a market test in the area last summer, and demand from users and dealerships called for a bigger roll-out, writes Roberto Torres at technical.ly.

Honcker has five dealership groups signed up for the app, mostly in the suburbs: Langhorne-based Reedman Toll, Downingtown’s DiAmbrosio Group, O’Neil in Warminster, Keystone Volvo Cars in Berwyn, and Paoli Ford in (you guessed it) Paoli. All told, company founder Nathan Hecht said, users can browse available rides in 20 dealerships from 12 auto brands in the Greater Philadelphia Region.
