Aon Affinity finds new home in Fort Washington
Aon Affinity, which specializes in developing, marketing and administering customized insurance programs, moved its 500 employees into 78,000 square feet of office space at 1100 Virginia Drive Oct. 16. With more than 200 clients, the firm offers a variety of personal and professional insurance coverage, including a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions, as well as specialties such as flood, pet, wedding and travel insurance, writes Linda Finarelli for The Times Herald.
Officials from Upper Dublin Township, Montgomery County and the business community welcomed Aon Affinity to the Fort Washington Office Park during a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 18.
“After three days, we’re absolutely thrilled to be here,” Aon Affinity CEO Bill Vit said at the start of the event. After spending almost 20 years at its prior location in Hatboro, the company took the search for a new location “very seriously,” he said.
“We’re happy to be part of some new communities and looking forward at least to a 12-year run,” Vit said.
Barry Rose, president of the Fort Washington Business Alliance, and Graham Copeland, Upper Dublin economic development specialist, welcomed Aon on behalf of the business community and township officials.
Rose offered the services of the FWBA to the new arrival and Copeland pointed out changes being made to revitalize the former industrial park and “improvements that will continue.”
