The Souderton-based Univest Bank and Trust Co. has signed a multi-year agreement to become a presenting partner of Saint Joseph’s University’s athletics program.
“We have always been committed to building meaningful relationships with local organizations, and our partnership with Saint Joseph’s University is especially exciting as we have the opportunity to engage with basketball fans in a fun and unique way while also sharing our financial solutions and expertise,” said Mike Keim, President of Univest.
“It’s our mission to support and educate young adults, and by partnering, we feel that, together, Univest and Saint Joseph’s can make a noteworthy impact in the community.”
The partnership with SJU athletics will have a primary focus on the basketball program.
Univest will also engage with the university through a number of unique programs structured to benefit the Alumni Association, as well as enriching and educating student-athletes by providing financial literacy seminars.
Having served the Greater Philadelphia region for more than 140 years, Univest has an unparalleled dedication to community support, and is especially well poised to raise financial education awareness.
Through its “Committed to Local” philanthropic program, Univest annually supports the Greater Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley regions with more than $1.6 million and 17,600 volunteer hours.
Last year, Univest employees visited classrooms and delivered financial literacy lessons to more than 5,000 students locally.
