Three Montgomery County colleges are on the top 500 in the ‘Best Colleges For Your Money’ list on Time’s Money.

The analysis focuses on colleges that have a minimum of 500 students, have sufficient and reliable data for the analysis, and are not in financial distress. They also have to have a graduation rate that is equal to, or above, the median for their category.

711 schools made the cut and have been ranked on 27 metrics in three main categories: Quality of Education, Affordability, and Outcomes.

The highest ranking college in Montgomery County is Collegeville’s Ursinus College at 335, which costs around $66,800 without aid per school year. It also gives a grant of around $31,500 on average to qualifying students. According to the analysis, 100 percent of those who require financial aid receive grants.

Next on the list is Bryn Mawr College at 357 with $69,400 with grants of around $35,200 which are available to 98 percent of students who qualify.

Last but not least is Gwynedd Mercy University which came in at 420 with an average cost of $48,400 without a grant, and drops to around $26,800 with one.
