The plan was adopted by the county two years ago, with the aim of reinvigorating business parks between the Valley Forge and Willow Grove turnpike interchanges.
Partners on the project include Horsham, Upper Moreland, Upper Dublin, Whitemarsh, Whitpain, Plymouth, Norristown, and Upper Merion. Other participants include the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.

“We have seen significant progress since adopting this plan,” said planning commission Executive Director, Jody Holton.
Already the results are showing results as Horsham has adopted the Horsham Business Parks Master plan and Upper Dublin has now rezoned its Prudential Business Campus on Welsh Road for mixed use.
In addition, the state has given the green light for a $2 million grant to Upper Dublin for an electronic toll ramp at the Fort Washington interchange.
However, Holton emphasized that these are just a few examples of the progress, and that similar improvements are happening in the Valley Forge-Upper Merion area and in Plymouth.
