Monica and Michael Kenyon chose to move back to Lansdale from Colorado Springs earlier this year for the birth of their daughter, Addison Louise, writes Anndee Hochman for Philly.com.

Monica was living in Montgomery County with her big Italian family, when she met Michael at Millersville University at a rugby party. The two dated for a while, but Michael had to move to Colorado Springs for work during the recession.

Their love was rekindled when Monica flew out to see him four years later. She moved to Colorado, where she and Michael got engaged three years ago.

A year later, the pair got married in Monica’s family’s parish in Blue Bell, and decided they would move back to Lansdale when they had children.

The baby came sooner than either of them expected and they arrived back home during the 28th week of the pregnancy.

Monica had Addison at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery on April 24 and a week later, the pair bought a house in Lansdale.

“My family basically rallied and moved us into the house in two days,” said Monica. “My mom watched the baby while I unpacked my closet.”
