In January 2017, Lisa Stotts joined Fort Washington’s CMC Energy Services as the company’s new chief financial officer.

Stotts brought with her decades of experience as CFO and vice president of finance for other multi-million dollar companies. She also has extensive experience in accounting leadership from her years working for Marriott International. Stotts earned her accounting undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and her MBA from St. Joseph’s University.

She decided on CMC for its distinct mission and tradition of being a women owned and women operated company. Founded four decades ago by Doris Ikle, CMC Energy Services designs and implements energy efficiency programs for over 20 utilities.

The company is certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council as a women-owned business.

However “what attracted me first and foremost is the mission,” she said. “Helping people, the ratepayers, especially low-income customers, that was meaningful for me.”

Before joining CMC, Stotts worked as a consultant with CMF Associates in Philadelphia. In that function she served as interim chief financial officer for various different companies. Prior to that she served as chief financial officer for Soleo Healthcare and she also spent close to a decade at King of Prussia’s Maxwell Systems, leading the finance and accounting department.
