Scent & Sip
Opened by a former QVC employee, the new fragrance lab Scent & Sip in Lansdale offers a fresh concept and unique and enticing aromas in candles.

If you can imagine a scent, the chances are that you will be able to find it on the shelves of the new Scent & Sip BYOB fragrance lab in Lansdale, writes Gary Puleo for Daily Local News.

In addition to the more traditional scents, the shop offers aromas that are specifically tailored to fit a certain idea or memory of a smell, such as Old Books, Baked Bread, Dad’s Den, and Straight Razor.

The business was started by former QVC strategist Jen Burnley, who defined her Straight Razor scent as “kind of a vintage, shaving cream smell,” while her Dad’s Den is described as having notes of “leather and pipe tobacco.”

The welcoming destination at 323 W. Main Street is ideal for people to hang out with friends while sampling scents and sipping their favorite beverage at the bar (the BYOB part of the business.) They can then take the experience home via customized home and body products.

“We invite you to smell your way through the line, mark down your favorites, come up to the bar and we’ll help you come up with a blend that you like,” explained Burnley.
